Kho gaye hum kahaan. A song that reaches your heart directly, tickles you and makes you sing the whole lyrics in sync with your life. Kho gaye hum kahaan. A song voiced by my two favorite singers in the world. Prateek Kuhad and Jasleen Royal. PK has been my favorite before he became popular across the circles. I remember one cold night in Hyderabad when I was really missing home and the girl whom I was dating had called it off for reasons best known to her. I plugged in my ear phones and created a Prateek Kuhad playlist and played it on repeat and snuggled myself to sleep with those songs. The first song I heard of Jasleen was 'Maye ni'. A beautiful song about friendship and life, made out of poetry of Shiv Kumar Batalvi. As beautiful as it can get. So when these two beauties came together to sing this one song, it was bound to become my favorite. I can repeat any version of Kho gaye hum kahaan by these two any number of times. I'm deeply and madly in love with the song and the singers. I just wonder what a genetic boob the offspring of these two talented young singers would be. The song will continue to be a feel good song, warming my heart, calming my soul, making me whistle, sing it out loud, cry to sleep singing it, jump with joy listening to it. Every version of Prateek Kuhad's on his Instagram and YouTube, every stanza every word of the lyrics will continue to ring in my ears till I take the last breath. It will play if hopefully I meet my significant other in a cozy room on a mountain hill somewhere in Himachal or Mussoorie or perhaps New Zealand. Kho gaye hum kahaan. ❤️ A song which you'll always find me playing in my room. A song which I will always cherish. A song I will recommend to everyone whom I love. Or even hate.
